At the heart of a smart card system is the CardSlide®, or smart card acceptor, which needs to be able to communicate with the machine on which it is mounted. ESD builds CardSlides® that can be adapted to interface with over 60 different types and brands of laundry equipment and CardSlides® that can be made to interface with literally hundreds of different types of vending equipment. These slides, with their large LED display, allow time of day and day of the week pricing specials, various classes of customers and penny increment pricing.
Finally, the programmers at ESD have designed powerful software that will allow customers to take full advantage of all of the benefits of an ESD MoneyCard® System. VTM®'s and individual machines can be accessed from a remote location via a phone modem or via the Internet. Completely secure audits and reports are available in both interval and cumulative totals. Management cards can be formatted. |
