Psikyo was founded in 1992 in Tokyo. Currently, around 90 people are employed in the company. Their primary focus is the planning, developing, manufacturing and domestic/overseas sales of arcade and consumer computer game software and hardware.
Their main clients are Sega Enterprises Co., Ltd. and Sony Computer Entertainment Co., Ltd.
Most of their games have seen ports to the Playstation and Saturn. Their arcade lineup includes a number of shooting style games: Gunbird, Strikers 1945, and the more recent Strikers 1999. Other shooters include Sengoku Age, Zero Gunner, Sol Divide, and Space Bomber. They have also released a few non-shooting titles, including the arcade fighting game Battle K-Road, and a range of Mahjong titles. |
