When Automatic Musical Instrument Co. (AMi) built their first player piano in 1909, little did anyone know that almost 100 years later, their reputation for cutting edge innovation and technology would continue and Rowe International would become the world's preeminent manufacturer of Jukeboxes, Bill Changers and Vending Machines.
In the late 50's AMi merged its Music and Jukebox business with Rowe's Cigarette and Vending business in an effort to continue the growth trajectories of both companies and leverage their combined assets. The results were remarkable. Today, Rowe International is the world's largest manufacturer of Jukeboxes and Bill Changers, and a leading manufacturer of Vending Machines.
On the Jukebox side of the business Rowe has won every major award for Compact Disc Jukebox designs given out by the American Music Operator's Association (AMOA) and PLAYMETER MAGAZINE for "THE BEST", "THE MOST PLAYED", and "MOST INNOVATIVE" Jukebox. That is 21 out of 21 Awards!

Rowe has also become the world leader in Bill Changers because of our ability to meet our customer's needs. We offer the broadest line of changer products anywhere ranging from our low cost Century Series capable of handling most of the world's currencies, to our premium BC Series Changers which offer the most complete diagnostics and anti-stringing technology available in the market place. Rowe is proud to be recognized as the leading supplier of Bill Changers for the Vending, Car Wash, Laundry, FEC, Casino, Hotel, Airport and Transportation markets.
Finally, the Rowe Vending product line has gained recognition for its reliability and durability and for the great VALUE it offers the Vending Operator. Our Vending products ranges from the traditional snack machines to our highly regarded Cold Food Machine and our specialty Popcorn machine.
Today Rowe International manufactures all its products in a state of the art facility in Grand Rapids, MI. Extending almost 1,000,000 square feet this facility houses Engineering, Research and Development, Sales and Marketing, and Administration. Rowe has offices in Taiwan, Brasil and London and has one of the industries most extensive sales and support networks, with Distributors in over 40 countries. |
