IAAPA 2014 Product Line Up for UNIS, Sega, Holovis, Simuline, LAI Games, and more!

IAAPA 2014

The IAAPA 2014 (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions) trade show, held in Orlando, Florida, is set to be huge this year from what we've seen of the various product line up updates from Sega Holovis, UNIS, Simuline and heaps of other companies!

SEGA

Sega will be showing it's most recently announced game, Showdown, which is the ground-breaking new racing game. Sega, again, joined forces with racing specialists Codemasters, who they teamed up with for 2010’s hugely successful GRID arcade racing game. This is undoubtedly the big title for Sega this year, however, there will be a range of new games as well including: Hello Kitty Kids Air Hockey Table; Pirates Show 3-Player Shooting Gallery Carnival Midway Game; Mini Key Master and Mini Prize Locker High Value Prize Vending Games; 60” Deluxe Plants vs Zombies™ The Last Stand Vid-Demption Game; 80” Super Deluxe Transformers Human Alliance Video Amusement Game; 42” Pirates of Monster Island Vid-Demption Game; and the Super Booth Photo-Tainment Machine with new player friendly Movable Camera Base.

Sega’s Prize Division will also be exhibiting Plants vs Zombies ™ and Doodle Jump licensed merchandise along with exciting new products from their proprietary Tokio Technology Line including the new Tokio Time Smart Watch, Tokio Tablet 3.0 and Tokio Sound Blue Tooth Speaker.

UNIS

UNIS has been releasing a number of sneak peeks for the upcoming IAAPA show, and the line up so far looks pretty good. The line up so far includes: The Safari Rnger 4 player sit down and 2 player upright cabinets - a 42" LCD video redmeption game in which players compete to rescue safari animals by lassoing them using a wheel mechanism; Panning for Gold - a 2 player ticket redemption game in which players use the controls to scoop up as many gold nuggets as possible before time runs out; Barrel of Laughs - a 2 player ball-shooting redemption game; Monkey Shake Down - A timing and skill based 2 player 'whacker' style game in which players have to stop the monkies from stealing bananas; and Beat the Goalie - a popular soccer themed machine which is a fast-paced, competitive game where players aim to shoot the balls through the holes and beat the goalie before time runs out. Potentially more machines to be announced before the show.

Simuline and Specular

Simuline, Inc. will be unveiling its newest motion ride, the Valkyrie, at the IAAPA Attractions Expo 2014. It is an interactive 4D motion ride that uses Unreal Engine 4 to deliver cutting edge content alongside Simuline’s patented ride technology. This is one of the first projects to use UE4 in an attraction simulator and it wi.ll showcase Specular Interactive's zombie shooter, Project HADES. The prototype Valkyrie will be on demonstration throughout the expo to industry attendees and press, to see it visit booth #2269.

LAI Games

LAI Games has announced it's product line up for the 2014 show. At their booth you will be able to find Mega Color Match with ticket/capsule and vend minor prize options, Mega Color Match Lite with three ticket dispensers, Color Match Club compact model, Mega Spin skill redemption game, Snapshot 2 photo booth, Pinata Candy video redemption game, and Prize Box crane with a new shape. Joining the new lineup will be established games Balloon Buster, Color Match Standard, UFO Express, and perhaps a few other surprises. LAI will debut at its Booth #415.

Holovis

Holovis will demonstrate how next generation dark ride and immersive theatre attractions can be created using ‘building blocks IP’ technology for unique and completely scalable experiences. They will be showing The Lost Cove, the latest interactive game title in the DomeRider series from Holovis, in which players can either work together or go head-to-head on a rapid treasure hunt in this virtual ride experience using the latest motion technology.

Barron Games

Barron Games International will feature never before seen products at IAAPA 2014, alongside their other popular machines such as the Galaxy Collision Quad-Air hockey game, Martian Mania series of children's games, and the Allied Tank Attack video simulator. You will be able to find Barron Games at Booth #628.

ICE and Play Mechanix

ICE and Play Mechanix will be showcasing their latest collaboration, Kunhg Fu Panda Dojo Mojo in which players have to punch/slap sensor pads to break targets attacking Po.


Smart Industries

Smart Industries will be showcasing its most exciting product to date - Prize Time DELUXE. It is a new crane that is a proven quality of a Smart crane and features a brilliantly lit front panel system for easy use and to make the machine more noticable. Operators can provide a crane with an enhanced look at an affordable price. Smart will have a limited inventory of these units in December and a full roll out in January. Smart Industries will be in Booth #1817, where Prize Time DELUXE will make it's debut.

Falgas USA

Falgas will display its comprehensive line of kiddie rides, including the Heron Carousel and the Racing Car Challenge. Falgas will also display its new novelty machines, such as Gas Station with Exchange Machine.

Sacao Playcard

Sacoa Playcard will present its latest release, the COLOR-SHOT HDT RF reader - a multi-function card reader combining Dual Head Magnetic Stripe + RFID "Tap to Credit" Technology - at the upcoming IAAPA show. The new reader includes all of the features offered by its predecessor, the COLOR-SHOT HDT "all-in-one," such as full HD color 3.5-inch touch screen, auto orientation for variable mounting options, e-tickets counting, and twin heads reader for standard magnetic card swipe, while it introduces the option of "contactless" reading for RFID cards, wristbands, tokens, and key fobs.
