The new version includes several new changes. There is now 5 buttons instead of 3 on the neck of the guitar. The buttons used depends on the difficulty level selected - Basic and Advanced use only 4 buttons, with Extreme setting using all 5 buttons. Long notes have also been added, and the guitar now vibrates when wailing the guitar.
One of the more noticeable changes included in this version are the huge speaker stacks - one on each side of the main cabinet.
