The seventh instalment of the worldwide-popular Dance Dance Revolution series. This version has been equipped with both Normal mode and Challenge mode, where players are challenged to try for the best time, according to the order and difficulty of songs previously set.The game incorporates the popular internet ranking system of the more recent Dance Dance Revolution models and as usual, a new mix of songs has been selected by Konami to increase the enjoyment and novelty of this successful genre. 7th Mix contains a total of 116 songs that are playable in normal gameplay, 34 of which are new to Dance Dance Revolution. 20 of these songs are hidden and unlockable.
New to Dance Dance Revolution 7th Mix - DDRMAX2 is the Nonstop Challenge, also referred to as Oni Mode. In Nonstop Challenge players progress through a series of songs with limited gaps between them. Players have a 'Battery Bar' and are given 3 lives, with lives lost for breaking a combo. Lives are regained after a song, and the mode ends when you have no lives left.
