A vertically scrolling shoot-em-up which brings a perfect blend of classic arcade shooting and original gameplay. Ikaruga is the sequel to Radiant Silvergun.

The player's ship can switch between two different forms: Light and Dark. The Dark form can absorb dark colored enemy bullets while the Light form can absorb light-colored enemy bullets.

If the player kills numerous enemies of the same color in a row, a combo is built up that adds to the score. Building a good combo is the key to scoring huge points.
