Incredible Technologies announced yesterday that they will ship two new courses for their record-breaking video game, Golden Tee Golf. Orders for Golden Tee EXtra are being taken now for a U.S. ship date of September 8. International customers can expect to receive their shipments later in the month.
According to Don Pesceone, IT's director of sales, Golden Tee EXtra is the right product at the right time. "Operators have been begging us for an autumn product for years," he said. "So we locked up award-winning golf course designer, Jim Zielinski, and wouldn't let him out until he created two new courses that players will go wild over. And boy, did he ever come through for us!"
Golden Tee EXtra consists of 2 new courses that are available in Stoke as well as GTGA/ITNet League Play. Shadow Swamp is a professional level layout that features the marshy landscape of the Louisiana Bayou, while Cedar Meadows features an all-new course set in the rugged Canadian Rockies. It's important to note that Cedar Meadows is the first amateur course available in GTGA/ITNet League Play. "Novice players who want to ‘get connected' with Golden Tee now have the perfect gateway to ITNet and the GTGA," said Cortney Black, IT's marketing associate. "Now, more than ever, Golden Tee can be their game too," she said.
"We wanted to give our operators a shot in the arm this fall," said Scott Morrison, vice president of marketing. "And there's no better way than to give them two additional courses for their players, while allowing them to pay interest free over the next 12 months. And these courses will be available for the next full year – even after we ship the 2005 update," he said.
