BayTek - One To Watch This Fall
BayTek has completed testing on their new fall release, Catchin' Critters, authorizing units into full production at their Wisconsin based manufacturing facility. Catchin' Critters is an attractive game inspired by one of today's most intriguiging past-times for children, bug collecting. BayTek's marketing director, Gina Mirabelli says "Bug catching has fascinated children for years. This common interest and hot retail trend inspired us to create a new kiddie game." The combination of a popular theme and easy game play will result in another successful ticket redemption piece for the youngest players. The graphics are loaded with charismatic little bugs, and asks players to flip a puck to match different combinations of bugs. Catching three caterpillars wins the big ticket payout. The game comes standard with a Deltronics ticket dispenser, BayTek's top quality chase-light package, a complete stereo audio package, and has a relatively small footprint of 20.25"D x 33.8"H x 77.8"H. Catchin' Critters is available now and can be seen at their AMOA booth # 2917.
To further their product line, BayTek has also released PlaySoccer, a solid piece equipped to hold superballs ranging in size from 45mm-52mm. While BayTek is most noted for their redemption pieces, their merchandising line is a significant portion of thier business and a top focus for their design team. President and CEO, Larry Treankler said, "It all comes down to fulfilling operator's needs. Our WhistleStop and Winner's Edge are high-end pieces. PlaySoccer offers street operators some flexibility with a lower
price tag". PlaySoccer has been in the field for quite some time and will also be shown at AMOA.
