Capital Gaming New Products Coming Soon

Capital Gaming, which holds the assets and trademark of Coinmaster, has announced it will bring it's first two new products to the next EELEX and ICE shows. Capital Gaming was formed by four former Coinmaster directors, after Coinmaster dissolved in March this year. The company will retain the existing portfolio of Coinmaster products, as well as develop a new line of high quality multi player products for the gaming market. The directors have decided to retain the Coinmaster name on the old products due to wide recognition of the brand in the market.

Director Adrian Parker said some of the key factors in the company's new approach was to make the workforce as efficient as possible while improving the quality and technical reliability of the products. "Further to this we have consulted with our overseas distributors and other clients to research new products tailored to market need," Mr Parker said. "The workforce of 13 people now produces nearly as many units as the previous workforce of over 50 due to improved working practices and the removal of some non-essential processes," he said.

Capital Gaming has seen early success in Russia through Unicum, Slovakia, Belgium and other markets. Sales Director Ken Kennedy said the market has responded well to their new pro-active approach. "Over the next quarter we will be shipping in excess of 30 units to Russia and also 5 to the now burgeoning Belgian market," Mr Kennedy said.

"We do not expect to compete on price but the market knows that to get quality you can't do it on the cheap. When the new products hit the market at the end of the year we will see a further strengthening of our market position," he said.

According to chairman John Evans, using distributors is one of the main keys to the success of Capital's future as it allows them to concentrate on producing high quality, technically advanced products. Currently the distributors used are Pasqual Consult in Belgium, Janshen Hahnraths in the Netherlands, Unicum in Russia and Beltrão Coelho SA in Portugal. There is talk of expanding the current network over the next few months, and the UK has been named as a key market.
