Air-Zoo Banks on New Attractions!
Europe's largest entertainment simulator manufacturer (AIG) basks in the light of their latest sales success, with the establishment of their first beachhead into the 4D theatre system competing against the established competition, with their first contract for the Kalamazoo Aviation Museum (Air-Zoo). At the same time SEGA opens a new spin on their large venue concept hoping to point to their new future.
Sammy sees System-X in a Terminal
Sammy Corp. made its fortune in the Japanese slot machine business, but Sammy's president recently stated his plans to move even more aggressively into the U.S. video game amusements market. Now the company is moving fast to make good on that pledge. Having launched its SNK Neo-Geo replacement with ATOMISWAVE, Sammy's next campaign is to invade the lucrative U.S. touchscreen countertop market. The Stinger confirms that a touchscreen terminal platform is in the works. This product, under the name TouchNet (Working Title), will utilize the so-called System-X, a modified version of Sammy's ATOMISWAVE technology. TSR unveils Sammy's plans to build up momentum for this dedicated hardware, prior to its official release.
