First Video/AWPs for Lithuania
UK-based gaming machine specialist Project Coin has made history by becoming the first manufacturer to site video/AWP product in Lithuania. The company's Joker Poker, which has proved highly successful in the UK gaming sector, has passed the stringent regulations laid down by the Lithuanian gaming authorities.
Alan Palmer, Project's Export Sales Manager said, "This is a significant landmark for the company, which augurs well for future export development. The fact that Joker Poker has transferred so seamlessly across cultures and regulatory frameworks underlines the universal appeal of poker-based games."
The first wave of Joker Poker machines will be located in arcades across 15 different towns in Lithuania including major cities Vilnius, Kaunus, Klaipëda and Ðiauliai. The first Lithuanian gambling legislation was introduced in 2001 and is based on the Norwegian model.
