ENADA Spring 2004 News
The new Italian and English versions of the SAPAR-AGIS ENADA Spring International Coin-op Show web site were launched last week. The ENADA Spring Show is organised by Rimini Fiera and will run from 26-29 February 2004 at the Rimini Expo Centre, Italy.

www.enadaprimavera.it features a cutting edge home page, with links to the event's contents, as well as organizers' web sites. In the expo content page there are several other links, placing all information about the show at navigators' fingertips.

Among the various services offered exhibitors can fill in and send off the pre-registration form as well as finding in-depth easy to use news on travel, hotels and accommodation packages. Those interested in visiting the expo can send off a form requesting specific information.

The web site was designed to play a dual role: a fast-access "showcase" for the expo and an important practical work tool for trade members.

An extra convenience added for the upcoming show is the "Route Calculator" introduced to Rimini Fiera's corporate web site www.riminifiera.it. The "Route Calculator" is a useful new service enabling the calculation of the shortest road to the ENADA Expo Centre by simply entering the town and address of departure. This service is accessed from the home page by clicking on "Calculate the shortest route for reaching us" in the right-hand column.

Another bonus in terms of facilitating transport is the railway station on the Expo centre premises with 16 trains stopping at it every day going North and South on the Milan-Ancona line during the ENADA Spring Show 2004.

ENADA Spring Product Manager, Gabriella Zoni said, "The station's on the main Milan-Bari line and will be stopped at by scheduled trains and charter trains able to be organised to coincide with the expo." The station, due to be completed in December of this year and inaugurated in January 2004, is on the left-hand side of the main Rimini Fiera entrance, will have stylish lines, low environmental impact and two 350-metre platforms with relative underpasses and an elevator to eliminate architectural barriers. The two platforms will have a waiting room, ticket office, expo info points and shops. The design is by Hamburg's GMP studio, well-known for having designed key railway stations, the most recent of which was Berlin's main station. The cost of this project is approximately 5,800,000 euros.

"It was recently decided with Italy's railway company on which days the scheduled service will be activated in 2004, a total of 53 days per year when exhibitions are being held (4 of which will coincide with ENADA Spring) and 16 daily trains, to and from Rimini Fiera," Ms Zoni said.

The ENADA Primavera International Coin-op Show will occupy halls A1 A3 C1 C3 and D1 with 35,000 square metres of new products from 300 exhibitors. An extremely comprehensive showcase, including coin-op machines (video games, pinball machines, juke-boxes, video juke-boxes, etc.), billiard tables, carom billiards, table soccer, kiddie rides, equipment, accessories and spare parts, automatic dispensers, bingo hall equipment, technology and services, furnishing, fittings and security systems for amusement arcades, gadgets, internet points and bowling.

To complement exhibition aspects, the event's program also includes shows and conferences specifically dedicated to the specialized visitors (19,231 in 2003, 1,659 of whom were from abroad) and targeting machine rental firms, technicians, amusement arcade owners, owners of public venues - bars, pubs, clubs, amusement parks, bathing establishments, hotels etc.

In 2004, ENADA Spring will be held simultaneously with Rimini Fiera and Facto Edizioni's PARK SHOW INTERNATIONAL Show of Equipment and Components for Amusement Parks, Water Parks and Fairgrounds. This combination will, while maintaining both events' absolute independence (as far as organisation and layout are concerned), further favourable attendance by international trade members and optimise business opportunities for exhibiting firms.
