Cromptons' Tim Francis will be relinquishing his position as head of sales and marketing but will continue to work for the company with responsibility for a number of sales accounts and marketing duties as well as Cromptons' interface with the Gaming Board for Great Britain and BACTA.
Heralding his new role within the Ramsgate-based company, Francis said, "I recently became a father for the first time and I would like to dedicate more of my time to my son, Christian and my other business interests, notably
www.TheDrinkShop.com, the internet off-licence which I launched three years ago."
"With the increasing demands on my time and the crop of exciting new product developments coming from Cromptons - including the latest ones, Big Top and Wheel-A-Win - I felt that the timing was right to hand over direct responsibility for the sales function: it's really a question of there not being sufficient hours in a day."
Paul Smith, managing director of Cromptons said, "The recruitment process is in place and I hope to be able to announce an appointment in the relatively near future. Tim has made a tremendous contribution to this company and I am delighted that we have been able to agree a formula which will keep him with us, albeit in a slightly different role."
