Students Give Top Marks to Beach Head Pup
British students like nothing more than a realistic 'combat shoot-'em-up' according to feedback received by Brent Sales. The Namco-owned machine company claims that Global VR's Beach Head 2000 Pup is currently the coolest game with undergraduates, as the nation's student bars are swelled by the intake of 2003.
Brent's UK Sales Manager, Steve D'Arcy explained: "Student bars are usually packed during 'Freshers' Week' and this year has been no exception. This obviously has a positive knock-on effect for the coin-op sector and the feedback we're receiving shows that Beach Head 2000 Pup with its ultra realistic game play is capturing a significant share of this spend."
Beach Head 2000 Pup brings the excitement of a first person shoot-'em-up into a compact upright cabinet. As the last line of defence players battle to protect military positions from an invading force comprising infantry battalions, tanks, personnel carriers, attack jets and heavy bombers.
