Funworld Delegation at Film Casting
Talks had taken place as far back as summer, when a Viennese film production company had contacted Funworld press officer, Ilse Retzek, to bring the Good Morning Austria! (Guten Morgen Österreich) casting to her attention.
The Good Morning Austria! program takes the form of a 90-minute TV and cinema film. A total of nine persons throughout Austria will be accompanied by a camera for a full day at their place of work for this recording.
A prerequisite is that they are all tuned in to Ö3 while working. It's expected that the film will be shown in Austria's cinemas this coming autumn. People were made aware of the casting via radio and by direct contact with companies.
Funworld met the call for casting enthusiastically, with seven employees agreeing to participate and six of them invited to the casting. According to Funworld, the success that followed was due both to the participating employees as well as the interesting line of work and the company building's modern architecture. As producer Hannelore Tiefenthaler confirmed before Ilse Retzek, chances that a Funworld employee will be one of the nine people to be filmed are high. The decision will be made during the coming weeks.
