IAAPA - EAASI to Manage New Show
The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) and the European Association Amusement Supplier Industry (EAASI) announced last week that the organisations have signed a letter of intent to form a new company, of equal shareholding, to own and manage what will be Europe's largest industry show.
"This historic moment has been long awaited by everyone, as it will offer a single meeting point for the European amusement industry," said Wieland Schwarzkopf, president of EAASI.
This new event will represent all amusement parks, fairs, manufacturers, carnivals and attractions throughout Europe. The show and its educational programs will enhance relationships within the industry by providing one voice towards future improvement.
"The strength of the partnership is combining IAAPA's role for the industry worldwide and EAASI's expertise in the European market," said Clark Robinson, president of IAAPA.
A final agreement is anticipated to be completed in the up-coming weeks.
