Brent Sales has moved swiftly to secure exclusive distribution rights to Hook a Duck, the six-player novelty game which, after its launch at Preview, was described by many industry observers as "the most innovative centrepiece product for some time".
Manufactured and designed by MSB Electronics and John Ferguson Spares, Hook a Duck is a modern take on a traditional fairground game, with players required to drop ducks through rings to win a vended prize.
And if proof was required that nostalgia pays, Brent has confirmed a weekly cash box take in excess of £1,000 for one Hook a Duck sited at a Namco-owned location.
John McKenzie, commercial and sales director at Namco/Brent, said: "Naturally we're delighted to have secured exclusive rights to Hook a Duck covering the British Isles and Spain. We've exposed Hook a Duck to an intensive test regime and the results speak for themselves. I would add that anyone interested in purchasing the game should contact us as soon as possible to ensure delivery before Easter"
