Camlock Caters for International Markets
Following the record number of overseas visitors to the ATEI stand in 2003, lock specialists Camlock Systems will have an even greater international presence at this year's show.
Camlock boast that they will have staff available able to converse in French, German, Italian, Polish, Arabic and Yiddish plus, of course, English.
The number of products on display on Stand 1218 illustrates the company's commitment to providing the gaming industry with the best possible solutions to overcome the menace of both opportunist and professional criminals.
Among the many examples from the company's extensive range on show is the award-winning Octagon system - a patented locking mechanism that puts it at the forefront of the fight against unauthorised key copying.
With hundreds of thousands of conventional RPT (Radial Pin Tumbler) locks fitted to gaming machines every year, many prone to unauthorised access because of the ease with which duplicate keys can be obtained, the Octagon has already become a major player in the quest for greater security, proving very popular with both original equipment manufacturers and end users.
Since the last show the Octagon range has expanded to meet the growing number and diversity of applications in the international gaming industry. It is available keyed alike, keyed to differ or master keyed as well as in reprogrammable format which means if a key is lost or stolen full security can be restored in seconds.
The patent and design registration covering the Octagon, together with a key registration system and the fact that no keyblanks are made available to third parties, helps ensure maximum security is maintained at all times.
Better safe than sorry. That's the message from Camlock Systems for companies' regularly collecting and transporting money or carrying valuables and sensitive documents in vehicles.
The company will be showing a range of transit safes designed to protect both drivers and their valuable cargoes from predatory criminals. They represent a much more sensible alternative to just throwing a bag of money into the back of the van which is still a remarkably common practice.
The safes are ideal for a number of money-collection and transportation situations and come in two styles - removable and fixed, both fitted with the company's high security locks.
Also on display on Stand 1218 will be examples of products stocked by Camlock associate company Sidlock Ltd.
From camlocks through padlocks to transit safes, whether high security or low cost is required, Camlock can provide a lock or locking system to suit almost every situation where unauthorised access is forbidden.
