Brent Wins AMF Bowling Exclusive
Brent Sales, part of the Namco group of companies, has today announced a major distribution agreement with U.S.-based AMF Bowling Products Inc. covering the company's new Thunder Bowl compact bowling system. The agreement, which has been confirmed in time for Thunder Bowl to make its European debut at London's ATEI, covers the UK (exclusively) and key territories in Europe.
John McKenzie, Brent's sales and commercial director said, "This represents a major coup for the company and underlines the breadth and strength of the product range which is now available from Brent."
"AMF is the world leader in bowling, a fact which is reflected in the features and build quality of the Thunder Bowl system. As importantly we've worked closely with AMF to bring the system to market at what is an extremely competitive price, giving operators maximum opportunity to accelerate their return on investment."
The system, which Brent will be targeting at coastal amusement centres, hotels and other hospitality/destination venues, can accommodate up to 16 players across two lanes. Key features include an automated, programmable bumper for novices and junior players, an under floor ball return for quiet and safe operation, automated touchscreen scoring, crisp graphic animation and one ball size for all ages.
"Thunder Bowl represents a significant and popular addition which will stimulate footfall and help retain groups of paying customers for extended periods. The modular system, which can be sited by our specially trained team, can be installed with up to 44ft. (13.1m) of lane length," Mr McKenzie said.
