Cardiff based Capital Gaming celebrated ICE 2004 with a bang following confirmation of orders from three continents. Total sales of all products reported during the show were in excess of $60 million and have firmly placed Capital at the top of the pile as far as multi-player automated games are concerned.
Following the finalisation of proceedings with administrators Ernst and Young, Capital is now allowed to supply into the United States. With the exception of California, where Capital is not allowed to supply the Coinmaster branded Roulette multi-player, all US gaming states are now open to them for the entire range of Coinmaster and Capital branded games. Following this ruling a significant order was placed during ICE from North America for the 10 Player Roulettes. Also on the order list from the show was the new video based horse racing game International Toote.
London also produced great interest in Capital's new card game that previewed at ICE as a concept game. Development is still underway with a trial product expected soon.
Commenting on the recent successes Managing Director Adrian Parker said, "An awful lot of competition is appearing from Eastern Europe and at far cheaper prices but, as was shown this week, quality counts. When you are buying a car, it is what is under the bonnet that is as important as the appearance of the car, and that is the same with Capital products."
"We take a great deal of time to ensure we produce the highest quality and most reliable products available so that if you lift our bonnet, the engine looks and performs equally as well as the exterior of the game."
To show its flexibility Capital has even been discussing the provision of a one player version of their International Toote Horse Racing Game - (
