Universal and Columbia TriStar on Photo Play
Photo Play Germany has entered into a long-term collaboration with Universal Music and Columbia TriStar Pictures, following the success of last summer's Auto Bild promotion.
Fun.net Germany's manager, Ralf Berger said, "Music and cinema are themes which are met with utmost interest by our players. Up-to-date highlights from these topics will always continue to make Photo Play interesting to its players."
The Photo Play NET will host permanent winning games as a result of the agreement Photo Play has made with the international media giants, and Universal Music and Columbia TriStar Pictures have also agreed to participate in the new Photo Play Club concept.
Since its introduction in November last year, one winning game chases the other in the Photo Play NET. Players can win the latest CDs including "Thekenhits 2004" (bar hits), "Bon Jovi" as well as the RTL series' "Dschungel-Stars" or cinema tickets for current hits such as "SWAT" or "Terminator."
According to Mr Berger, players are provided with an additional topical attraction that ensures entertainment through the network. "And success proves us right: the number of participants is growing week by week and has already increased by 150 %."
"From the results of a participants' analysis, we know that besides regular players it is especially occasional players who are attracted by our promotions and who come back to play more regularly. Livened up playing locations and additional takings are the result," Mr Berger said.
As opposed to its competitors, Photo Play continues to award contemporary small prizes to a larger number of winners rather than giving away only high-price top rewards. In Photo Play's philosophy - players see a more realistic chance of winning and are therefore encouraged to come back regularly.
