Following a lengthy negotiation process, Global Payment Technologies are pleased to announce the recent signing of a major deal with Russian machine manufacturer Villart.
The agreement is for the supply of GPT's Aurora Bill Validator with shipments starting within the next quarter. Aurora is the one of the latest in a successful line of Bill validator products from GPT and marks a significant breakthrough for what was originally a vending product into the Gaming market. Aurora accepts Rouble notes up to an including R1000 that fulfils the needs of the dynamic Russian Gaming market.
Commenting on the agreement GPT Inc CEO Tom Oliveri said, "We are extremely pleased with the establishment of this relationship with Villart. They are a quality organisation, and when it came time to choose a validator company, Villart knew GPT would deliver the quality and service this market demands."
"We are also very excited about the prospects of Aurora, previously labelled as GPT's world class vending product, breaking the 'venue barrier,' and gaining wide acceptance in the non-regulated gaming market. The Russian gaming market is a very large market and it is one of the high growth gaming markets identified for the next several years," Mr Oliveri said.
"With the acceptance and demand for the Aurora product in this gaming sector, GPT is poised to once again establish a significant market position in the Russian gaming market. Aurora did exceptionally well in field trials, out-performing the competition with respect to both performance and value. This contract is a significant achievement for GPT and Aurora, which will no longer be known as 'just our vending product.'"
