Coming Soon to a Trade Show Near You
FX Simulation has revealed it installed a U2 Mirage simulator last month at the Grand Pier on Weston Super Mare - pictured, in the lead up to the Easter weekend. The Grand Pier is currently the only pier in the United Kingdom to feature FX Simulation's U2 Mirage, which has had major success inland in the UK bowling alleys chains, cinemas and other sectors.
The Grand Pier is a long established amusement site with two other simulators already on site. John Fleming, Managing Director of FX Simulation Ltd said, "We are very pleased to be able to add the Grand Pier to our client list. They are a long standing member of the amusement industry."
According to FX Simulation, Grand Pier management was the first to purchase off its stand at the ATEI trade show earlier this year. Kent Amusements site in Newcastle also purchased a U2 Mirage from FX Simulation at ATEI, making the company the second to boast a U2 Mirage in Ireland.
Following the Kent Amusements purchase, FX Simulation visited the AmEx show in Ireland to meet the growing demand and customer base in Ireland. FX Simulation Sales Director Carla Fleming attended the show and said that as a result, the company achieved a sale to Port Rush at the The Goldrush arcade. "It's great to come over to Amex and meet the customers. The site at Goldrush has now been trading a few weeks and they are very pleased with the performance of the simulator."
Ms Fleming said that the latest sale of the U2 Mirage Simulator was last week to Funtasia in Bettystown. "We are sure that our customers will do great money over the upcoming Easter season. It has been very busy with supply of simulators coming up to Easter. It's always a busy time for the industry and the revenue generated over this period on our simulators will be massive."
The most recent show FX Simulation attended was the DAB Food Expo in Denmark this month where they displayed two simulators and made them available for visitors to ride, for a fee. According to Carla Fleming, "The queues were endless, the simulators worked non stop throughout the exhibition and everyone was very pleased with their experience."
Continuing the trend, FX Simulation will be attending the World of Entertainment exhibition in Prague, Czech at the end of this month, and will again take two simulators.
