Students Performance Rewarded with Photo Play Coins
The Pestalozzi school in Vöcklabruck, Upper Austria, is a special school that caters for severely disabled students. Its director, Emmerich Lehner, has now introduced a new incentive for students, a Photo Play terminal which is operated only by game coins. Students at the school are now able to receive Photo Play game coins from their teachers or minders as a reward for good performance.

Since the terminal's introduction to the school, teachers have noticed hidden talents in several of their students. Pictured is Manuel (with co-students and the school's assistant director), who revealed himself as an enthusiastic Trivial Pursuit player. During the game Manuel employed all of his efforts to select the correct buttons on the screen unaided.

Wolfram Stanek, a renowned memory research scientist at the University of Koblenz, conducted tests and found that after a person played a Photo Play terminal, their ability to concentrate was increased by as much as 40 percent. "There is no doubt that products such as Photo Play terminals stimulate the cooperation of both brain halves." Mr Stanek said. "This is why people who play are not only probably more cheerful, they are also more mentally efficient."
