Freestyle Gaming Gathers International Momentum
UK gaming company Project is reporting what it describes as a "significant take-up in excess of forecasts" for its Freestyle Gaming platform, which provides the industry with its first cashless video lottery terminal system.
Following its launch at January's ATEI, Project has responded to serious enquiries from 11 countries and will have completed installations in four jurisdictions by the end of May. The company's Managing Director Tony Boulton believes that one of the key factors driving sales is the versatility of the platform. He explained: "We've avoided a ‘one size fits all' approach to gaming. Operators have outlined specific and quite different needs ranging from cashless through to multiple gaming requirements. Freestyle is a versatile platform and in each case we've tailored the system to satisfy specific business needs. The reality is that Freestyle will work in any gaming jurisdiction."
Freestyle Gaming has a full online capability and supplies operators with a range of benefits that include the ability to access data remotely in real time and to update games remotely. The platform can be credited automatically or adapted to accept coins, notes or tokens whilst coins, tokens or security tickets can be paid out. Stakes can be converted into virtual chips whose value can be set by the operator.
