Pentranic Strengthens its Touch
As one of Europe's leading monitor and touch screen manufacturers for the Gaming and Amusement industries, Pentranic is well established as a quality supplier and specialist company in these sectors. During the recent CEBIT German Spring Expo in Hanover, Pentranic strengthened its position in the demanding Touch Screen market by signing a deal with US manufacturer Touch International. This agreement gives Pentranic the distribution rights for all Touch International products in Europe. Pentranic will incorporate the new range of highly durable, low cost, standard capacitive-based touch sensors and controllers in their complete Gaming and Amusement product lines.
Commenting on the agreement Derrick Campbell, Commercial Director of the Pentranic Group said, "Over the last 12 months we have been working closely with Touch International to ensure that the product meets the rigorous demands of the Gaming Market, while being sensitive to the competitive pressures of the industry. Having satisfied ourselves that these parameters are being met, we look forward to promoting the Touch International brand in Europe and introducing their range to our customer base." The incorporation of Touch International components will allow Pentranic to supply high durability low-cost replacement drop in screens to a burgeoning and increasingly competitive European market. Due to the flexibility of the product there is also the ability to have drop in replacements for ELO's resistive and Microtouch's capacitive ranges. The new components are all fully compatible with the strict standards set by the International Gaming industry, and allow for replacement screens to work with Pentranic's existing controllers and installed base.
