Brent/Namco has announced additional features for two of the games it distributes, including the arrival of a new version of the Tsumo platform and a new exciting game play option in the Target:Terror combat video.

Brent/Namco, as exclusive distributor of Tsunami Visual's coin-op video range throughout Europe, is now able to offer a 33" Junior model for the Tsumo hardware platform - pictured. Powered by electric motors, Tsunami's Tsumo is a responsive motion-based entertainment platform offering six degrees of freedom, navigated using authentic flight stick controls. Linkable for up to eight units, the new Junior model benefits from a complete cabinet redesign incorporating a custom-made seat and a 33" CRT display screen. The platform houses a fully upgradeable software system from which players can select from a multi-game menu of blockbuster games. With seven proven titles including Air Strike, Air Raid, Beach Head, Beach Head 2000 Special Edition, Crimson Skies, Mech Warrior 4 and the latest addition to the range, ExZeus (futuristic robot combat), Tsunami's continually evolving software library will ensure the frequent addition of games to maintain future development of the Tsumo platform.

Brent/Namco has also revealed a unique dual-blast experience is the new characteristic contained in Target: Terror, the anti-terrorist combat video from Betson Enterprises/Raw Thrills. According to Brent/Namco, this new feature is believed to be the first of its kind on a coin-op shooting game. The feature, dubbed ‘Justice Mode', enables a single player using two credits to battle their way through all nine stages of the game using both guns simultaneously. Weapons function independently of one another with weapon selection and recharging of ammunition requiring players to ‘think twice' about how they play the game.
