VirTra Systems Installs Training Simulator in Mexico
VirTra Systems, Inc. today announced it successfully installed its IVR-300T HD firearms training simulator at a new regional training center in Veracruz, Mexico. The IVR-300 HD was recently installed in the newly-constructed and prestigious Centro De Entrenamiento De Veracruz (Veracruz Training Center), where it will be used to train regional, state, and federal law enforcement officers, as well as Mexican paramilitary personnel. The sale was announced last September; however, the facility was not identified at that time per the customer's request.
"We are pleased to have installed our first international IVR-300 HD simulator," said Michael Kitchen, VirTra Systems' vice-president of training and simulation. "International acceptance of our new simulators has been considerable. Based upon discussions with officials at the pre-shipment demonstration, I expect more multi-system tenders in the very near future. In addition, a second IVR-300 HD was shipped to Mexico earlier this month."
"VirTra Systems' training system has exceeded our expectations," said Captain L. Alejandro Montano Guzman, Veracruz Training Center's director. "The IVR-300 HD is simply the best training device we have ever used. The system's 360-degree capability more effectively trains our personnel in both judgmental use-of-force and situational awareness in a 'real-world' environment," Mr Guzman said.
