VirTra Systems Announces Another U.S. Military Simulator Sale
VirTra Systems, Inc. yesterday announced another sale of its new 360-degree IVR HD firearms training simulator to the United States military. The U.S. military branch, currently classified, ordered VirTra Systems' new IVR-300 HD high-resolution firearms training simulator for deployment to a classified training location. The system will include a large complement of extremely sophisticated military training weapons and specialised scenarios. Delivery is scheduled within four to six weeks.
"While limited in what we can presently disclose, this military sale marks our largest dollar value and sophistication magnitude of any simulator sale to date," said Michael Kitchen, VirTra Systems' vice-president of training and simulation. "Once again, our technologically-advanced, patent-pending 360-degree simulator was chosen by the U.S. military for its serious training needs. Our technology is establishing its reputation as the most realistic, challenging, and potentially life-saving simulation technology currently available. We expect our first domestic law-enforcement simulator sale in the very near future," Mr Kitchen said.
L. Kelly Jones, VirTra Systems' chief executive officer said, "We believe this contract, promptly following our initial sale to the U.S. Air Force, coupled with our recent multi-unit Immersa-Dome promotional virtual reality system sale, clearly demonstrates increasing acceptance of our new projection-based technology."
