Winner of Silverball World Championship - Eric Nonnato
Eric Nonnato of Salurn in Italy is the winner of the 2004 Silverball World Championship, TAB-Austria announced yesterday. Mr Nonnato received the award in his bar, Klause, earlier this month, a 19-day world trip for two people. Managing Director of TAB-Austria, Ing. Siegfried Dattl, pictured, presented the prize to Mr Nonnato. TAB-Austria has said the Silverball World Championship, held from November 2003 to March 2004, was a great success, with over 1,000,000 games played by over 14,000 registered participants. Markus Remlinger, Marketing Director of TAB-Austria said the company has planned a number of different national and international tournaments, that are due to commence in the near future. "We will follow up the great success of this World Championship in the future and organise international tournaments on a regular basis," Mr Remlinger said.
