SEGA Sammy Holding… On!
Announcement of accelerated merger materialises in simultaneous Summer Private show to distributors. Near completed Sammy A-Wave appearance of ‘King of Fighters NeoWave' with a major move to establish AW-NET tournament technology. Meanwhile SEGA across the road showed their new ‘Virtua Fighter 4 Final Tuned' and its VF4.Net network technology, all hoping to compete in a crowded 2004 brawler market. Merger finalisation also supplies news of possible ‘unusual' practices that were hidden in a location called the ‘Chicken Shed' – coming on the back of changes in favored state relationships in Europe for SEGA.

More Concerns over Mission: Space!
The Associated Press reports several guests at Walt Disney World have been rushed to the hospital due to severe chest pains and other alarming symptoms, following rides on Mission Space, WDW's key new 2004 attraction. The ride's tendency to make guests violently nauseous comes as no surprise to TSR readers, who read it here first; but the latest round of incidents raises concern to an entirely new level…Meanwhile, the ride's manufacturer announces a second amusement attraction installation in Blackpool and future contracts. Back in the USA, another attraction manufacturer faces a call for suspension of their attraction operation in Massachusetts. Investigation into their restraint system continues after deadly accidents.
