IT & Peppercoin to Process Credit Card Transactions on Future Online Games
Incredible Technologies announced a partnership Monday with Peppercoin, a payments company that provides cost-effective solutions for micro-payment transactions, as a means to offer credit card payments on upcoming coin-operated products. Traditional costs associated with such transactions are not economically feasible, but with Peppercoin it is now possible to reduce the processing and customer service costs enough to make it an extremely attractive option for operators and consumers. An all new, state-of-the-art version of the Golden Tee Golf coin-operated video game, is slated to premiere by the end of this year. One of its many groundbreaking features will be the acceptance of credit cards as payment using Peppercoin's latest payment solution system. Peppercoin of Waltham Massachusetts, just released Peppercoin 2.0, which makes the purchase experience transparent to the buyer and includes support for physical point-of-sale transactions. Consumers can use their credit cards to make purchases from the merchant, with no specialised account pre-enrollment required. Peppercoin 2.0 also provides merchants with an online customer care system that helps reduce customer service costs. "Micropayments typically are considered credit card transactions that run less than $5," said Andy Kniaz, Director of Business Development at IT. "Traditionally, such small credit card payments have not been cost effective due to various processing fees, which are geared more toward larger transactions. Peppercoin's Universal Aggregation system combines small purchases from many different sources, making the associated costs much more affordable for our industry," he said. Elaine Hodgson, CEO of Incredible Technologies said, "Peppercoin provides Incredible Technologies with the ability to economically process credit card payments for the millions of Golden Tee Golf games played each year. By offering consumers the ability to use whatever they have in their pockets to pay for a game, we expect to see earnings increase dramatically as it has in other industries, and expand the size of the overall market. By keeping the costs associated with this process to reasonable levels, Peppercoin is helping to transform our industry."
