Sega Japan Re-Launches Its Official Website
Sega has re-launched its official Japanese website today, with the closure of its Amusement Vision and Hitmaker development studios websites coinciding with their launch through Sega's new website. The consolidation of the websites comes as Sega's subsidiaries merge today in another step towards the Sega / Sammy merger. Sega Japan's new site features a new design and layout for increased ease of navigation. One section of the site directs users to the page of their chosen category of video game – either to one of the console game pages or to the arcade page. The arcade page boasts pictures and information about the latest Sega products and news for the coin-op amusement industry. The arcade page features links to the pages of Sega's development studios including the new Amusement Vision and Hitmaker pages. Check out Sega Japan's new website at www.sega.co.jp.
