GTI Expo organisers have said the 2004 show, held at the end of last month, boasted the largest scale since it's inception. Covering A, C, and D Zones of Hall 1 at the Taipei World Trade Center, organisers said the growth in size enabled buyers to find everything they needed and even more. The GTI Expo is known as Taiwan's one and only international trade show for the electronic gaming/amusement industry, and celebrated its 11th edition on June 24-27 2004. The 2004 Expo featured exhibitors from China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, and Malaysia in addition to local exhibitors from Taiwan. 103 companies overcrowded the 658 booths to display their products during the show with overseas visitors from Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, North Korea, India, U.A.E., Myanmar, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, Thailand, Israel, Nepal, Singapore, Kazakhstan, and Australia in Asia and Australasia, the US, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Guatemala, Peru, Colombia, Panama, Paraguay, Venezuela, and Chile in America, Italy, Estonia, Spain, Portugal, Ukraine, Russia, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, the UK, Switzerland, Ireland, Latvia, and Greece in Europe, and Egypt and South Africa in Africa. The GTI Expo 2005 is scheduled to take place from July 22-25 in 2005 at A and D Zones of Hall 1 of Taipei World Trade Center, which is estimated to hold 500 booths. GTI organisers said they are committed to presenting a more brilliant performance next year.
