Update 2005 Arrives Next Month for DSL Terminals
Funworld Ag will next month release Update 2005, the first update for its DSL linked Photo Play Extreme terminals. The conventional update for the terminals will be available from January 2005. Funworld Ag's Sales and Marketing Officer, Marco Huter said, "Never before was it this easy! During the next days and weeks, chips will be sent out to all online-clients. Upon receipt, the chips can be inserted into the Photo Play terminal's existing dongle. And that is all that needs to be done to activate the update, which was transmitted by us earlier." While the update for terminals that are not operated online still has to be loaded by DVD and DVD box, the availability of Online Update 2005 takes only a few seconds after the chip is inserted. "Here we have a clear example of the advantage operators have in the online handling of the new Photo Play Xtreme terminals," said Mr Huter.
The Update boasts eleven brand new games, three of which are provided in modern 3D optic. In addition to the new games, nine classic games were completely revised in accordance with players' requests and requirements. Two new game principles emphasise the profound Photo Play idea of playing with or against each other. Fun.match allows two players to play at one terminal and the quickest player to answer the questions wins. Fun.match games include Find It Classic, Find It Mordillo and Girls vs. Boys. The second principle is an available speed mode during multiplayer games. This means that two to four players can compete against each other from different Photo Play terminals. As soon as the first player has solved a level, the playing time is reduced for the remaining players. The brand new games for Update 2005 include Montezuma, Now or Never and Eleven Speed card games; Double Gum, Heart Beat, Twins, Athletics (3D), Air Hockey (3D) and Billiard (3D) skill games; and Trivial 20th Anniversary Ed. and Girls vs. Boys quiz games.
