Money Controls is set to demonstrate how ccTalk, Money Controls' open serial communication protocol, works in complete harmony with its portfolio of high performance products, on the Maggi Coniature stand number 20, pavilion 22 at
Enada 2004. Recommended by ACMI as the preferred protocol for the Italian AWP market, ccTalk is designed to provide the secure transfer of credit and status information for a range of secure money systems applications. New legislation introducing AWPs in Italy means that old machines must be replaced with new ones which can be monitored using serial communication for revenue purposes. ccTalk, coupled with the required Money Controls products, provides the perfect solution and also offers operators additional security and monitorability, resulting in higher performance through reduced service costs and minimum downtime. All of the necessary Money Controls products for the Italian AWP market are family members of the ccTalk secure transaction system offering increased security, comprehensive diagnostics and detailed error and status reporting. The specification encompasses coin acceptors, bill/note acceptors and coin hoppers, and is easily expandable to add new peripherals. On show at Enada will be Money Controls' highly versatile SR3 3.5ins coin acceptor, which has been tailored to meet the Italian customer needs and is ideal for the competitive Italian AWP market, being supported by a range of 3-way sorters and frontplates.
International OEMs developing products for the Italian AWP market will be interested in viewing the SR5 high security coin mechanism. As the leading 5ins product of its kind for networking to ccTalk, SR5 offers high security, excellent true coin acceptance and a variety of options, including 4-way sorting and a selection of frontplates. Money Controls will also demonstrate its comprehensive range of hoppers, including the reliable ccTalk compatible MK2 Serial Compact Hopper payout -

Other products on show from the Money Controls' amusement range will include the high-capacity, single denomination Universal Hopper coin payout which handles 95% of the world's coin sets; the Lumina note acceptor, a low-cost, high speed, compact, modular system offering high performance, high security and trouble-free handling of virtually all of the world's note currencies, with very high first-time acceptance of street-grade banknotes and the ccTalk PCI Card, which interfaces industry standard ccTalk enabled peripherals to a standard mother-board, enabling the use of mass-produced PC format control boards to be used to control amusement and other money handling machines.
