Gamesman Founder Takes New Role as Chairman
Gamesman's founder, Ken Smith, is set to take a new strategic role within the company he launched eight years ago, that is now a market-leading push button designer and manufacturer in the UK. Mr Smith, who remains majority shareholder, has become Gamesman's Executive Chairman heading a board comprising Robert King (Finance Director), James Cove (Technical Director) and Mark Smith (Managing Director) - pictured.
This represents the latest chapter in the career of an industry personality whose association with the sector began in 1968 when he founded Starpoint Electrics. Looking forward to the new role Ken Smith said, "Healthy businesses are based on a combination of delivering consistently excellent standards of service as well as exploring new ways of doing business. I will be focusing my time on the big issues facing the business at large and identifying the best routes forward for Gamesman. The team has worked extremely well together for the last eight years and I'm certain that they will build on the successes already achieved."
