VirTra Systems Sells Additional Simulator to U.S. Air Force

VirTra Systems, Inc. this month announced the sale of an IVR-180 HD high-definition firearms training system to MacDill Air Force Base, near Tampa, Florida. The system was shipped to the Air Force this week for full installation in the near future. The IVR-180 HD system contains a complement of specially-modified training weapons. The Air Force intends to utilise this IVR-180 system in its combat arms instruction and marksmanship training initiatives. "We are naturally pleased the Air Force continues to utilise VirTra Systems' simulator technology to train its mission-critical troops," said Michael Kitchen, VirTra Systems' vice president of training and simulation. "As more of our revolutionary systems are placed, we fully expect demand for our multi-dimensional, high-definition training systems to accelerate and become the new standard for military firearms training."
