Konami & Jaleco (Pacific Century...) Settle Out of Court
Konami announced this week that it had come to agreement with Jaleco (Pacific Century Cyberworks Japan - PCCJ) over the intellectual property infringement of the Dancing Machine patents.
Earlier this year, PCCJ, a Hong Kong company, bought out Jaleco and took on the legal case where Konami was suing Jaleco over their Stepping Stage machines "borrowing" intellectual property from the Dance Dance Revolution / Stage machines.
In a press announcement this week, Konami said for the good of the industry it was dropping the case against PCCJ and was focusing on new developments in games.
