DT Productions and SoundNet have moved to new premises at Maygrove House, 67 Maygrove Road, London NW6 2EG; Tel: +44 (0) 207 644 8888. The new offices are 6000 sq.ft. spread over three floors and located in London but easily accessed from the M1 and M40. The state-of-the-art studio works on a 24 hr shift pattern and boasts a shower and sleeping accommodation. "For the first time ever, both the studio and office are now in the same building," said Simon Davis. "This has radically improved our processes, as it allows a real-time review of all the audio and video files by the programming department. As soon as we get the file in, our programmers can see it or hear it from their computers," he said.

Content is received in CD, DVD, Beta SP and Digi Beta format and is converted to the required specifications using a bank of encoders. All manufacturing and dispatch is completed in-house with three multi CD/ DVD burners producing over 125,000 discs per year – for sites all over Europe. The programming department sources all the content directly from the record labels at the same time as it is despatched to radio and TV. Therefore, audio and video generally appears on jukeboxes and background systems before it can be bought in the shops.
