Gamesman Adds Screens to Reels with Tovis Deal
Gamesman used last month's ATEI as the platform to launch a major distribution agreement with $35m turnover Korean monitor manufacturer, Tovis. The agreement, which covers the UK and Spain with options to add further territories, will see Gamesman distribute and market the Tovis range of TFT and Plasma monitors on an exclusive basis. Mark Smith, managing director of Gamesman said, "This is a very significant development for Gamesman and is the first in a line of third party distribution agreements that we will be looking to conclude in 2005. With the emphasis moving from traditional AWPs to video-based gaming solutions, it also means that we will be able to supply manufacturers and games designers with both reels and screens."
The Tovis range was one of many highlights on the Gamesman stand, which also featured the GPB430 'disco' button, until recently the subject of a five-year pan-European exclusive agreement with Barcrest.
