Photo Play Terminals Popular at Athens Fair Despite Prohibition

Photo Play's Touch of Sports Concept and Xtreme terminals with the Update 2005 were met with interest this month at the Coffee Biz 2005 trade fair in Athens, despite the Greek law that prohibits any type of electronic game in the country. Photo Play partner, Nikos Serdaris, represented the company at the catering trade fair held from 4-7 March, where all of the Photo Play terminals that had been displayed at the event were subsequently sold.

"Many of these clients had had their first contact with Photo Play at this trade fair and they were so positively surprised that they had immediately placed their orders," said Mr Serdaris.

Mr Serdaris said he is optimistic about the law that prohibits any type of electronic game in Greece, "We have reason to hope that the Greek government will change the decree before they have to answer to the European Court of law, where the chance of conviction is very high, based on the complaint we have filed there."
