Sega's Cycraft Meets Initial D3 for Drive Of Your Life!
Sega Amusements Europe Ltd has now released its popular cost efficient simulator Cycraft with its latest title. Initial D3, the third version of the admired driving series, is now available in dedicated or update kit formats for Cycraft and follows on from the popular Sega software Club Kart and sci-fi race game F-Zero. Cycraft is the ultimate interactive motion simulator for Entertainment Centres. Designed by Simuline, it is seamlessly linked to Sega software and incorporates an incredibly dynamic and realistic motion system that creates great excitement. Cycraft dimensions are small enough to fit through regular double doors and can be easily disassembled further to fit into most freight elevators. Its simplicity in installation and operation sets it apart from 'standard' simulators. Whilst being sited in traditional arcades it has also been installed onto ferries and into airports. Original Cycraft sales and income figures had been extremely pleasing beating all expectations, and made operator payback times the fastest in the sector. Player response was also equally encouraging.

Sega Amusements Europe Ltd, Chief Operating Officer Paul Williams said, "Cycraft is unique in many aspects and addresses many of the concerns that most operators have about simulators. It is small, compact, light and easily installed. It fits into most arcades in much the same way as a normal video game. It runs on a single-phase power supply and negates the huge cost of having to install 3-phase power. It is a linkable machine with up to 8 players available. The guarantee of high quality Sega software for future upgrades is a key point for many operators." Initial D3 is a great one on one race game and now a thoroughbred amongst classic driving games. The races take place on a mountain setting and adopt characters from a famous comic strip, the player's goal is to beat the rivals and become a legendary driver. With new cars and courses the title has performed well since its summer 2004 debut in twin format, and with this extra dimension that can only be experienced on Cycraft will no doubt make this latest version a real success, as well as adding to player enjoyment and cash box returns. Continued commitment from Sega in producing a new title every year is set to see Cycraft a familiar sight at more locations in the future.
