Heber Limited Recognised by the Queen
Heber Limited, a provider of innovative electronic control systems, has reported that it has received the Queen's Award for Enterprise in the category of International Trade. Heber was specifically recognised for having increased its overseas sales by more than 80% in three years. The Queen's Awards for Enterprise are the UK's most prestigious awards for business performance; the Royal approval recognises and rewards outstanding achievement by UK Companies. In the category of International Trade, businesses must "demonstrate substantial growth in overseas earnings and commercial success, to levels that are outstanding for the goods or services concerned and for the size of the company's operations." The Awards are conferred each year by the Queen, on the advice of the Prime Minister and an Advisory Committee that includes representatives of government, industry, commerce and trade unions.
