First Annual Multi Platform Gambling Forum Brings Amusement Onboard
The diversity of gambling in the modern market is one of the topics which will be covered in the Multi Platform Gambling forum scheduled for June 28 and 29, that will gather leading exponents ranging from casino and internet to the entertainment terminal sector. Event organiser, ATE, has invited a presentation from video amusement and attraction specialists KWP Limited, who will be presenting an overview of the Out-of-Home leisure entertainment markets adoption of the gaming initiative, as well as chairing a gathering of speakers from the market on this subject. The 'Multi Platform Gambling Forum' has gathered the biggest players in the field of traditional land based casinos, the internet, mobile phones, interactive-TV, kiosks and entertainment terminals; representing an industry predicted in excess of $16 billion worldwide. This world wide market is looking towards the application of the latest technology, with an industry that sees the Out-of-Home leisure entertainment sector as a logical next step. This two day event has attracted an influential line-up of attendees, and has brought together an experienced group of speakers to pack the conference schedule. Joining the presentation line-up, for the first time, KWP's founding executive Kevin Williams will present 'Exploring Opportunities in the Tournament & Out-of-Home Leisure Sector.'

In his presentation, Kevin Williams will address the cooling of the consumer game scene towards stronger gaming experiences, and how the amusement and attractions sector hopes to capture the new audience. He will also speak about the amusement industry's need for an 'Unachievable @ Home' experience to reverse casual attendance to powerful repeat revenue generation with the aim of the changing the amusement scene. This presentation brings oversight into the application of Prize Tournament, Roaming Communication, Broadband Connectivity and User Targeting (linked to smart-cards and player accounts). The presentation will include guest speakers to offer authoritarian observations of how manufacturers are currently applying this technology; one of those speakers being the respected 30-year amusement industry veteran Frank Ballouz, Vice President, International of Merit Industries Inc. This will be supported by other fellow experts in the scene, with views on the implementation of new market thinking. The development of gambling into the amusement scene including the popularity of skill based products has taken many by surprise; the forum attempting to brief influential decision makers ranging from game content, marketing and brand licensers; while other high level sessions will be provided from the likes of Inspired Broadcast Network, O2, CyberView, InterCasino, BetFair and Chartwell Games.
