Money Controls To Launch PayLink at Moscow Show
Money Controls' new module PayLink allows the swift and simple integration of payment peripherals into PC-based amusement and gaming machines, as visitors to stand number 24 will discover at the World of Games 2005 held from June 9-11 at Crocus Expo, Moscow. PayLink allows payment peripherals to be harnessed quickly to new machine platforms with no need for bespoke software, dramatically reducing the time to market. With designers under increasing pressure to quickly create software for new games, and varying combinations of peripherals also requiring associated software, PayLink represents yet another practical, time and cost-saving solution from Money Controls. The module uses a variety of industry standard protocols to communicate with peripherals, such as Ardac 2, ID003, ccTalk and MDB. Whichever protocol is used, the process is designed so that all peripherals can be exchanged with the minimum of fuss. Other devices, such as serial meters, thermal printers and lamps can also be connected to the machine via PayLink.

Available as a package including the required software for easy connection to the host, PayLink's embedded software provides all credit handling, error checking and diagnostics, and access to ongoing updates for peripheral and enhancement upgrades. "PayLink will provide simple connection to PCs and allow casinos and operators to choose and use virtually any USB equipped peripheral on the market," said Money Controls' Product Marketing Support Manager, Andy Bassam. "Machines which currently run with proprietary hardware and software require a special protocol connector to achieve that flexibility. PayLink enables the easy exchange of standard peripherals and also allows vital software updates. Therefore, as well as providing access to a huge selection of products, PayLink is the essential product to ensure that machines are future-proof." Money Controls will also be displaying the Ardac 5 (World Acceptor), the Lumina Rotor, the MC7200, the High Capacity Cyclone and the Condor Plus. C.A.T.S. (Casino & Amusement Technology Supplies), Money Controls' Russian distribution partner, will also be showing these products along with PayLink on stands numbers 25 and 36.
