Video Game Violence Censorship Flares Up again
The censorship of violence in video games has always sparked heated debate. The latest round has been playing in various state parliaments across America. Michigan, California and North Carolina all have had bills and debate about stronger censorship for violence in video games.
Late May in SPRINGFIELD, Illinois lawmakers voted 106-6 to ban the sale of violent or sexually explicit video games to minors. Although federal judge have stuck down similar state bans from states like Washington, Indianapolis and St. Louis County, as a violation of free speech. Causing states to want the right make there own laws and ratings system.
