Accelerating Cashbox on Namco Driver
The cashbox performance of new twin driver, Maximum Tune 2, has more than matched that of its highly successful predecessor – according to manufacturer/distributor Namco Europe. The company's product manager, John Brennan revealed that income from the first installed twin unit still shows little sign of slowing down even after five weeks on site. Indeed, Maximum Tune 2's cashbox continues to climb and is currently around 50 per cent higher than the extremely impressive level set at the end of the first week. Maximum Tune 2 employs a loyalty card system, allowing players to store personal details including their competitive history, car modifications and upgrades over a period of 50 games.

"What we are witnessing is an accepted pattern from an exceptional game," said Mr Brennan. "The overall take is stunning and reflects increasing player awareness of the Maximum Tune series which is resulting in growing multiple usage by single players and more repeat plays. It's becoming clear that the loyalty card system has a clear and positive influence over the longevity of the game and from the income patterns established so far Maximum Tune 2 is set to run and run."
