Photo Play Sponsors Largest Cypriote Billard Tournament Ever
According to Photo Play, Billiards is one of the favourite sports in the country of Cyprus, with the country also boasting the world's largest Photo Play density (with over 2,500 Photo Play terminals for 700,000 inhabitants). In Nicosia's most famous games hall, the Louiziana Billiard Hall, visitors will find solely billiard tables and the latest Photo Play terminals with online-linkage. Photo Play this year was pleased to sponsor the largest Cypriote billiard tournament, during which over 100 enthusiasts played for top places within a period of two months.
In return the Cypriots had the opportunity of applying alternate training methods, with billiard available as a multi-player game in a touch-screen version on Photo Play. The "Photo Play billiard tournament" finals took place at the end of June in the Louiziana Billiard Hall in Nicosia. After the finals, which were given much attention by the Cypriote press, prizes were handed to the happy winners by Picadilly manager, Stelios Stylianou, in a special winners' ceremony.
